9/4 Duck Men Sweep Top Six Spots, Women Take Top Two at Pre’s Trail Run, Video Highlights - The Oregon men’s team swept the top six spots while the Oregon women claimed the top two places in the season-opening Pre’s Trail Run before an enthusiastic crowd Thursday evening at Alton Baker Park.

9/2 Bolt, Powell run second-fastest 100, 200 at Athletissima Grand Prix, Results - Asafa Powell equaled the second fastest time ever over 100 meters when he clocked 9.72 seconds at the Athletissima Grand Prix on Tuesday. Bolt cruised to victory over the 200 field in 19.63 seconds.

9/1 Ex-track star Maree faces prison on fraud charges - Maree attended Pennsylvania's Villanova University in the 1970s. He later took U.S. citizenship, and in 1985 he set American records for 1,500 meters and 5,000 meters

8/31 Aviva British Grand  Prix Results - Asafa Powell crushed the field in 9.87, Tyson Gay back again winning 200 (20.26) over Spearmon, Lagat beats Willis in 1k (2:16), Bekele continues to dominate in 3k (7:31) - Teg 7:47 - Solinsky 7:49, Brad Walker wins PV, Lauryn Williams wins 100 & 200, beats Olympic Champ Fraser 

8/31 On The Run: Mixed reviews for Team USA track and field in Beijing - The U.S. track and field team went to Beijing with great expectations. Walking away with 23 Olympic medals, its result, while mixed, adequately measured up. 8/29 Bolt, Jelimo light up Zurich Golden League track meet, Results - Usain Bolt continued his unstoppable streak winning the 100m in 9.83 | Pamela Jelimo of Kenya came close to beating the oldest track world record in the books running 1:54.07 | Lolo Jones rebounds to win 100H at 12.56 | Wariner gets revenge over Merritt, runs 43.82 | Angelo Taylor (48.07 400H), K Bekele (12:50 5k), Robles (12.97 110H), Richards (49.74 400) all post victories

8/30 Racing towards a new biz plan: USATF - Doug Logan’s heart sank as he watched the baton hit the ground on the final exchange of the women’s 400-meter relay. Earlier that same night at the Beijing Olympics, the U.S. men’s 400-meter relay team had done the exact same thing. Neither team would make it past the semifinal round.
