Sailgroove is pleased to announce its involvement with two major aspects of the upcoming Finn Class World Championships, the dynamic event website finngoldcup.com, powered by Sailgroove's FloWebsite platform, and LIVE coverage of the event to stream on sailgroove.org and finngoldcup.com, providing close-up on-the-water coverage of the racing using Sailgroove's FloLive system.

St. Francis Yacht Club will be the host for the two major World Championships of the Finn class: the Finn Silver Cup, which is the Junior World Championship, August 17-24 and the Finn Gold Cup, which is the open World Championship, August 27-September 4.  The two events combined already have over 100 entries from over 25 countries.  The regattas will be sailed on San Francisco Bay during the optimal sailing season for that area.

The official regatta site, finngoldcup.com, is built on Sailgroove's premier web platform, FloWebsite.  It features regatta documents, event news and twitter, but its real power will be revealed August 30-September 4 during the Finn Gold Cup.  The site will offer free live video of racing as well as recorded highlights available each evening after racing.

Sailgroove's Chris Love will be shooting video coverage which will be simulcast on finngoldcup.com and sailgroove.org.  With Sailgroove's FloLive system, he'll be able to stream high-quality imagery from the racecourse to your computer screen for free.

So please, check out finngoldcup.com and mark your calendars for Sailgroove's unprecedented LIVE coverage of the Finn Gold Cup August 30-September 4.

If your event could use Sailgroove's FloWebsite web platform or FloLive live video system, or both, let us know!
